Description: To celebrate 2011 Black History Month, UniWorld Group developed a 360º campaign targeting African American Enlisted and Officer candidates. The solution was a campaign called “Where I’m From” that featured Marines in their iconic dress blues positioned in their hometowns thus making a closer connection to the communities they protect. A UGC microsite was constructed which provided the highest level of engagement of the campaign pieces. The site was built off the google map api layered with a twitter integration that captured social discussions about the campaign. Videos of proof source Marines describing their experiences helped to provide an additional level of messaging.
